Our Key Personnel
Philip (Phil) John Pusey is the Founder and Governing Director of St Jude’s Health Care Services and has been heavily involved in the disability, mental health, community services and aged care sector for over 40 years. Phil has been involved in a number of industry committees and advisory groups over many years, including the position of Board Member in a variety of organisations, and has tracked the various reforms state-wide and nationally in the area of disability services, mental health and aged care services. It was always his mission to maximise the health, enjoyment and quality of life of people with disabilities by providing quality individualised support.
Binu Joseph has been the organisations' key personnel since March 2011. He has an extensive operational and management experience in both private and not for profit sectors. He has post graduate qualifications in Social Science, International Relations & National Security and he is currently pursuing a postgraduate law degree in Juris Doctor. He has been involved in the in various Boards and Committes for many years. Binu takes the lead in strategic planning and operations of St Jude's Health Care Services.
Anne Livingston is the Regional Manager North of our disability Services team. Anne has worked for the past 19 years for the Department of Communities with Disability Services as a Local Co-ordinator and later as an Area Manager for the past 8 years. Previous to this she worked in the Disability Private Sector managing a Community Living Association and The Department of Justice as a mediation officer. Anne has Qualifications in Social Science majoring in Disability, education and mediation. Anne is passionate about supporting and planning with people with disabilities and their families to have a “Good Life” embedded in community, with meaningful activities that focus on a person’s passions, dreams and aspirations. Anne is very passionate about citizenship and contribution and strives to ensure that people with disabilities are valued members of their community. Anne’s responsibility will be to ensure that each person receives an individualised focused service that is person centered, flexible with choice and control ensuring that each person achieves their goals and has a fulfilling life.
Fiona Hood is the Eastern Regional Manager of our disability services. She has the portfolio of accommodation and community services. Fiona has been part of our organisation since 2013 and played a significant role in developing operational strategies for our disability services. She has an undergraduate qualification in Bachelor of Science (Health Sciences) and a post graduate qualification in Masters of Occupational Therapy. Fiona is passionate about supporting people with disability to achieve their goals and aspirations through providing individualised, quality services tailored to their needs. In her role as Easern Regional Manager, Fiona is responsible for ensuring both the Accommodation and Community services are personalised, flexible and responsive to help people to develop their goals and dreams for living a good life.
Lee Fernihough joined St Judes Disability Services in 2016 as Manager of our Community Services. Lee has worked in the disability sector for over 6 years and holds a personal interest in strengthening the capacity of individuals, families and communities through effective service delivery and in upholding peoples’ rights through the delivery of person-centred care, and the promotion of choice and control. In her role as Manager of Community Services, Lee is responsible for managing the day to day operations of St Judes’ Disabilities Community Services, operation of community centre (Bellevue), evaluating and improving the quality of services delivered, liaising with clients, their families and stakeholders.
